Players in our Ambassadors FC club teams sometimes hear stories. Stories about poverty and difficult living conditions. Stories about people looking for hope. Stories about the work that Ambassadors Football is involved in around the world. The U11 girls team in the Cleveland area decided to do something about the stories they had heard.
They donated soccer balls and pumps to villages in Nicaragua where sports equipment is often too expensive for people to afford. One of the players, Claire Pheneger, recently went to Nicaragua to give the gifts to village pastors. She and her mother, Laura, presented a skit message called “Flat Ball Full Ball” to illustrate our need for a Spirit-filled life.
We pray that these gifts and this message will be a blessing to the people and villages of Nicaragua that Ambassadors Football and our partner churches have relationships with. Great job, Claire and the U11 girls team!
